Jurisdictions
One global core, many local overlays.
trāṇa is built on a jurisdiction-aware model: a consistent global privacy lifecycle at the core, with country-specific and regional regulatory overlays plugged into that core as modular components.
The India DPDP overlay is live. Additional jurisdictions — Singapore PDPA, EU GDPR, GCC frameworks — are on the roadmap.
India first. Singapore next. Then the region.
Data Matters™ is anchored in Singapore with an operating pilot in India. The trāṇa jurisdictional roll-out follows that geographic logic — India DPDP is live today, Singapore PDPA is next, and the broader ASEAN and GCC overlays follow as the pilot matures.
India · DPDP Act, 2023
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — India’s foundational privacy legislation. Sector overlays for BFSI, NBFC, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, Services & Technology, Telecom, Consumer, and Pharma are in place.
Singapore · PDPA
The Personal Data Protection Act — Singapore’s longstanding privacy framework. The trāṇa Singapore overlay is next in the roll-out.
ASEAN · Regional overlays
Country pathways for the ASEAN economies where the Data Matters™ expansion is planned. Sequencing follows client demand and regulatory maturity.
GCC · Regional overlays
Privacy frameworks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar. The GCC overlay set is planned once ASEAN is delivered.
Jurisdictional detail is being built out.
As each overlay is completed, its detail will appear here — obligations, mappings, sector adaptations, and platform hooks. To be alerted, or to talk about a jurisdiction we have not yet covered, use Start Here.
